The Bell MTS Place is an indoor arena that hosts many acts, artists, and sporting events. It is the home for the NHL hockey team the Winnipeg Jets and it’s AHL affiliated team the Manitoba Moose.

Inside the Winnipeg Jets locker room is their logo inlaid into the carpet flooring.  Nobody is allowed to walk across this logo as this is a source of pride for the team and everyone who enters the room. As a part of this project we cut the carpet that was to be inlaid into the field carpet. We avoid excessive moisture being absorbed into the carpet by raising it off the typical cutting surface of the table, which is slightly under the water, with corrugated plastic blocks. The jet passes through the material and the blocks without sitting or returning, keeping the carpet fairly dry throughout the entire process.
