NRC Building - Kinetic Wall

StateCraft team collaborated with NumberTEN Architecture, Flynn Construction to create this Kinetic Wall in Winnipeg, Canada.

This impressionist type of art is known as a kinetic medium defined as the energy of an object due to its movement. These 13,000 stainless steel squares create a large-scale artistic distortion of the geometric shape for the viewers perception. This project precision challenges were overcome with our cutting-edge solutions of waterjet production and design coordination for etching the lettering. The natural elements interactions with this large-scale project allow for captivating sun glimmering, and wind movements that are eye-catching from the industrial surroundings.
