York Avenue Parkade

Project: York Avenue Parkade
Architect: BLDG Architecture, Allan Coppinger
Our Contribution: Supply and cut anodized aluminum panels

Along a major route and near the RBC Convention Centre, the York Street Parkade provides multiple levels of parking to a variety of clients.

For the design on this, a consistent set of perforations were used in anodized aluminum panels. The anodizing process can only be completed on aluminum and adds to the natural oxidation resilience of the aluminum. In addition to protecting from rust, there are a few color selections for the anodized finish which can be applied that can be used during the process to add to the aesthetic.
